What a great start to the school year! I am so pleased to be part of the Mark Twain family. We are still getting settled in, which is hard with the horrible heat this week. My Fourth grade Rock Stars are going to be growing so much this year as learners. We are practicing being good readers.

Using Quiz-Quiz Trade to teach each other the meanings of some personal character traits. Students work on using manners during cooperative learning by giving each other a high five, giving each other praise, and thanking one another.

In math we have also been using Quiz-Quiz Trade to practice reading numbers to the hundred thousands place. Students make pretty awesome teachers!!
